Season 4 is finally live, and it is the biggest update of the year: the central map was rebuilt from scratch, three weapons joined the rotation, and the weekly reward system changed shape entirely. Here is everything that actually changes in play — and what is worth testing in your first few hours.
The change you will feel first is not a visual one. Matches move faster now because the rotation points shrank, and that favours teams who play aggressively from the opening seconds. If you were used to holding position, you will need to relearn the early game.
What changed on the map
The central region lost both towers and gained an underground complex with three entrances. In practice, the middle stopped being a long-range firing position and became a close-quarters fight over space. If your team depends on long sightlines, the new route is around the east side.
- Rotations through the centre are roughly 20% shorter.
- The two old capture points were merged into one.
- A new passage connects the north directly to the underground.
The three new weapons
Of the three, only one genuinely shifts the meta. The high fire-rate SMG dominates the underground fights and already shows up in nearly half of all ranked matches. The other two are side options: good, but not mandatory.
Worth remembering that new weapons usually launch stronger than they end up. If your resources are limited, wait for the first balance pass before investing everything in one of them.
Weekly rewards
The pass now hands out rewards per week instead of by accumulated level. Players with less time gain from the change: the weekly track takes about four hours to clear. Heavy players lose the old ceiling, since anything beyond the weekly cap no longer carries over.
Our recommendation: clear the weekly missions before the dailies. They are worth more, and they expire with the Sunday rotation.
