Rockstar explicitly says GTA VI is sold separately from The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. The collectible box is merchandise, not a game edition. Confirm that distinction before comparing its price with Standard or Ultimate Edition.

What Rockstar announced
The September 24 announcement schedules the limited-edition box for November 19 and lists items including a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses, a New Era hat, a crossbody bag, pins, stickers, and a double-sided poster. It states that the game is separate and that pre-orders are subject to stock. Read the original post for the complete contents.
Why the product name can confuse a comparison
A collector product and a premium game edition can share branding without supplying the same thing. Begin the comparison with the deliverable: a game license, in-game extras, or physical objects.
If you primarily want to play, first establish how you will obtain the game. Evaluate the merchandise afterward on its own contents rather than assuming it completes the software purchase.
Check regional ordering information
Rockstar’s announcement says details for pre-orders across Asia, Latin America, and Australia would follow. Do not assume a storefront offer in one market establishes shipping availability everywhere. Check the current official product page for your destination.
Avoid using an old social screenshot as evidence that a seller still has stock or can deliver to your region. Stock status and delivery arrangements need a live check.
Inspect what matters to a collector
Review the listed objects, dimensions where supplied, product images, and packaging information. Decide which items you actually want. A long contents list is not automatically good value for someone who only cares about one object.
This guide does not claim the box will rise in resale value or become impossible to find. Scarcity language in a promotion is not an investment forecast.
Keep the final order specific
Before placing an order, verify the product name, included contents, destination, delivery estimate, and total shown by the official seller. Keep the confirmation and terms relevant to that purchase.
If buying from another retailer, establish that retailer’s own description and support route. Do not assume an image copied from Rockstar proves that every third-party listing is identical.
Which related guide should you use?
Use our Standard-versus-Ultimate guide for the software edition decision and our code-in-box guide for the physical packaging question. Those topics should remain separate from collectible merchandise.
